Her Photo Series America On Display exhibits the quirky oddities of retail displays regarding “Native America”. Its’ juxtaposition within Indian Country no less , humor well intact.

In the Photo Series ‘As On Earth’ the divide between religion & man belies a gritty reality, a void alongside striking religious symbology. Mediums vary from photography & encaustic wax to textiles, large scale loom weaving & beadwork. Using traditional methods, her beadwork is a collision of modern & traditional. Contemporary in style & large in scale with an average 150,000 glass seeds beads per tapestry. Naturally, her buyers are as eclectic ranging from Boone Pickens to Alice Cooper.

We have a vast collective knowledge & life lessons gleaned from observation. The historical wrongs clearly cannot be overlooked but do so with purpose. Learn from it. Honor those who walked it.

Don’t set up residence there. Focus the lens on the past wrongs for the redemptive qualities but don’t remain. We have a present & by virtue of this, we have a future. This was why they walked, relocated & persisted. Honor this by showing up & daring something bigger than yourself !”
